What’s   better than trekking and exploring nature with some hidden waterfalls?  and walking through the different types of insects ,plants and trees which I’ve not seen it before in my life? My recent adventure to Rajathani Kottai in Dindigul was special because I got to experience it with Dex team.

I want to share my wonderful trekking experience to rajathani kottai with Dex team. The trekking with my mom’s colleagues was fun and amazing !!.

The Journey Begins

Before the day of the journey packing the essentials is exciting Armed with backpacks, snacks, and endless enthusiasm and it gives me a satisfaction before the journey begins. The day started early with a cool breeze and more excitement. As we gathered early in the morning, everyone’s excitement was infectious. It was heartwarming to see my mom’s colleagues welcoming me into their group like family. After sometime of travel, We had a filling breakfast that was energetic, and started travelling again. Before we reach the destination there was an surprising part and that was so cool and amazing, there was a quiz conducted by Balaji sir about our important needs that is food .And that was not only about food it is also about our healthy veggies, fruits and trees .That was so informative sir and useful for our daily needs, thank you for making this trek more interesting with your quiz part.

The Trek

After two and half hours of travel we’ve reached the destination Rajathani Kottai . Before we start the trekking the view of the mountains from the ground was so amazing, it feels like welcoming us. At the beginning it seems like a easy path but after sometime we’ve walked through a treacherous rocky trail which is a bit difficult to walk because the thorns scratches our skin and some kind of plant called “hitchhikers” stuck in our cloths. After one hour we have reached the silver falls, its watery sound was so amazing and the water was crystal clear. It feels so satisfied to see the running water on those big and gigantic rocks. Between the rocks there was a small pond like one formed up. Slippery rocks, and streams that needed to be crossed tested our endurance. But the promise of the waterfall kept us going. From the beginning a dog has been travelling with us. It smelled of sunlit leaves, cool dew, and the faint hint of wild herbs. After two hours we’ve reached the main waterfalls sound of rushing water. Energized by the sound, we quickened our pace, and within minutes, the waterfall came into view. A outpouring of water tumbled down from a height, surrounded by moss-covered rocks and lush vegetation. The pool at the base of the waterfall was crystal clear.

The beauty of the place was magnified by its solitude; we were the only ones there. We wasted no time in kicking off our shoes and wading into the cool water. The sensation of the icy water against our skin was both refreshing and energize. We spent hours there swimming, taking pictures, and simply sitting by the water, soaking in the calm state. Thanks for helping us to be stable and without falling with your support in the waterfall Santhosh sir, Hari sir, and Kesavan sir.

Lessons From Nature

This trek taught me the importance of enjoying the journey, not just the destination. It also reminded me how much nature has to offer if we take the time to explore it. That day at the waterfall taught me more than I could have imagined. Nature has a way of reminding us of life’s simple pleasures. The laughter we shared, the beauty we witnessed, and the challenges we overcame together made the experience priceless.

And I recommend this trek to my beloved cousins who loves to explore, experience the adventure that I had I missed them really so much hope we’ll go on a trek together soon. And finally I thank Muthu sir for giving me this opportunity to explore and experience the trekking and write a blog about it.

Conclusion

As the sun began to set, we reluctantly made our way back, each step feeling heavier than the last. The memories of that day remain etched in my heart, a reminder of the beauty that exists if we’re willing to explore. The magic of nature is waiting sometimes, all it takes is a little curiosity and a willingness to wander off the beaten path.
